Working principle of valve electric actuator

Working principle of valve electric actuator:

The valve electric actuator is basically a deceleration motor. Electric motors can have various voltages and are the main torque generating components.

To prevent thermal damage caused by excessive labor or power consumption, valve electric actuator motors are usually equipped with thermal overload sensors embedded in the motor winding.

The sensor is connected in series with the power supply and opens the circuit when the motor overheats, and then closes the circuit when the motor reaches safe operating temperature.

The electric motor consists of an armature, electrical winding, and a gear set. When supplying power to the winding, a magnetic field is generated, causing the armature to rotate.

As long as the winding is energized, the armature will rotate; When the power is cut off, the motor stops.

The standard end of the travel limit switch is necessary for electric actuators to handle this task.

Valve electric actuators rely on a gear system directly connected to the motor to enhance motor torque and determine the output speed of the actuator.
